Our Work

Through community mobilisation and empowerment

ProNet believes that people are at the heart of development. This underscores our commitment to rural development and people centred approaches that are key to sustainable development and appropriate for human centred mobilisation that responds to legitimate community and group aspirations. This is achieved through acknowledging relevant indigenous tenets in planning, ownership, operation and maintenance, sustainability, and responsiveness: leading to the development of paradigms and facilities by the end users and primary stakeholders

Through the active promotion of Equality and Diversity

We value ideas over the hierarchy! Our open-space management structure allows for free thought and the sharing of ideas between employees and management. There is a strong overlap between departments and the regular flow of information through formal and informal channels ensures that every employee feels a sense of investment, belongingness, and commitment to the organization. Feedback from employees is valued and encouraged. Our partners play a direct part in setting the agenda

Growth and development

Through our commitment to pro poor and human centred approaches to development, ProNet North can show that the key to sustainable development is human centred mobilisation that responds to the legitimate aspirations of people. This logic is embedded throughout our core programme areas: Water and Health, Education and Inclusion, Climate, Women and Food Security and Decentralization and Governance. Our Finance and Quality Assurance teams ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory guidelines, good practice and accountability to our partners and stakeholders.
